EXPERTISE

Over ten years  of legal practice allowed me to gain an in-depth understanding of most complex legal issues.  I provide the guidance my clients need on the broad scope of corporate, regulatory and compliance issues that may arise.

In the past I worked for international law firms in Berlin and Warsaw advising clients on wide range of cross-border investments, greenfield projects and M&A transactions. I  have also a robust policy track record encompassing  appointments to standard setting bodies including the OECD Corporate Governance Committee (vice-chairman) and IOSCO Standing Committee 6. I supported also ESMA as national expert at ESMA Technical Committee, ESMA Benchmarks Task Force and ESMA Standing Committee on Supervisory Convergence.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

I graduated with honors from Warsaw University with Master’s degrees in law and analytic philosophy. I earned my PhD (distinction) in international financial law from University of Łódź. Prior to that I studied at University of London (LLM Programme), Indiana University School of Law and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

• Vice-president of the European Association of Firearms Lawyers (Frankfurt/Main).
• Senior fellow at the Institute for Responsible Finance (Warsaw).
